How To Donate
The idea is to try and raise £1million by encouraging donors to give generously to the Harvesters Trust. As a way of thanking donors we will display their image / logo, the size of which will correspond to the size of their donation. In total we have room to display images / logos totalling 1 million pixels which require a donation of £1 per pixel.
Everyone is welcome to give although we particularly encourage donations from Christian organisations, ministries, businesses and individuals. Donations are available in 100-pixel 'blocks' (each measuring 10x10 pixels). The homepage is divided into 10,000 of these 100-pixel blocks (hence there are 1,000,000 pixels in total). The reason for asking for donations in 100-pixel blocks is because anything smaller would be too small to display anything effectively.
You can donate as much as you want as long as there are enough pixels available (see the live stats in the top right corner of the page). When you make a donation we will display an image / logo of your choice in the space you have selected. The image will click through to your own website if you complete the relevant field on the donation form. However no obscene or offensive images will be allowed.
The pixels you select will be displayed on the homepage permanently. I guarantee to keep the site online for at least 10 years, but hopefully much longer. I want the site to become a wonderful Christian resource and, in the long run, I believe your donation will generate great publicity for your organisation.
Terms & Conditions
- Minimum Donation to display image / logo: £100 (1 Pixel block - 10x10). Please donate as much as you can.
- Your image / logo will be displayed on the home page for at least 10 years.
- You are only allowed to change your image if your Web site has undergone a major change.
- No refunds once your donation has been processed and your image / logo put on the main page.
- No obscene / offensive / adult images / links will be accepted.
- If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive / obscene / adult material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.
- You can get your image / logo removed at any time and it's space will be publicly available again. You will not receive a refund.
- Images must be the exact size you have paid for (eg. 100 pixels = 10x10 pixels)
- Images must be in GIF, PNG, BMP, or JPEG format AND not animated.
- Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://
- You must have the right to use the image you provide.
- There might be occasional downtime for site maintenance but that will be kept to a minimum.
- Your image / logo will be added within 24 hours from time of donation.
PayPal
PayPal is the ideal payment method for donating to charities. Because the donations are requested in £100 blocks, please ensure you select the correct quantity of blocks when donating.
Donations are processed automatically through the grid selection page. Visit the home page and simply click on the cell where you would like us to display your image / logo. After your selection you will have the opportunity to expand your selection in height and width. |
